Leadenhall Building
The Cheesegrater

The 225 m (737 ft) tall Leadenhall Building opened in July 2014. Designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, it is informally known as "The Cheesegrater" because of its distinctive wedge shape. The shape was somewhat forced on the architects because of the requirement to abide by planning laws that restrict line-of-sight views from various London locations on to St Paul's Cathedral.
